C & S Seafood Restaurant: what do users think?

Adam: In a conversation with some family, I was complaining that there was nowhere local that offered deep fried minnows with spiced salt and they dropped a bomb on me and said C&S has them and they have been here for years. So I packed up the wife and kids and checked out this tip right away. They do have them here and they are deliciously crispy and salty with a hint of spice. So happy that I don't need to travel to Vancouver just for these delectable little minnows. Nice bonus that the rest of the food here tasted great. Can't believe that this great restaurant was hiding right in front of me for years. Food portions are huge and well priced. Service was awesome as well as whom I assume was the owner was wonderful as she had recommended some delicious entrees to try out. Pro tip, washrooms here are questionable but that's a good thing, that's a clear sign that the food is 🔥 Trust me.

Wilson: One of the places that I go with my family with for authentic Chinese food and always friendly service. This is a family run restaurant that I am happy to support.

dan c: Good food reasonable price 👌

Connie: We were there on Thursday for lunch. Their lunch specials are including varieties of noodles, fried rice, all for $11/ plate. It's very cheap compared to the other restaurants. The portions are fairly big and tastes very good. Definitely good value for your money.Parking: Parking spaces in front of the restaurant and it's free

Steve Yong: Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair not accessible

Cathy pham: Amazing food and service. I made reservation to eat somewhere else and remembered C & S Seafood restaurant. I use to go here a long time ago and I am glad you guys are still here. Thank you for the making my parent 50th anniversary dinner a memorable one.

Louis Huang: Very nice service and good food!

Ashton Wong: One of my favorite authentic Chinese restaurants that my family and I have been coming to for years. The hot and sour soup is hearty and the best in the city! Friendly staff as well. Underrated and consistent food quality.

Hai Duong: Excellent Chinese Seafood Restaurant.

Kev P: Good authentic western Chinese food!

David Chou: Great traditional Chinese seafood restaurant

Serena Ho: Whenever I'm in town with my family, and looking for tasty Chinese food, we always come here for a delicious meal. Their golden garlic fried rice is our favorite!

Sabor Restaurant: what do users think?

Vanessa Wedick: Service was so attentive, whether it be filling water or asking if we wanted anything else. although slow at some points for serving a drink or main courses. Highly recommend the seafood paella, and the tagliatelle and the beef tenderloin! Note, the calamari has a dairy sauce and is spicy! Street Parking is a bit sparse but there’s pay parking across the street.

Reina Granados: The food is just amazing. They change the menu but I have been trying different dishes and I have come up with new favourites.Dietary restrictions: On our table we had three different dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate all.

Black Pearl Seafood Bar: what do users think?

C.M. Neely: Hands down the best seafood in Edmonton! Both locations are beautiful, gives me romantic pirate ship vibes 🌹🏴‍☠️⚓️Buck a shuck Oysters, to die for! Highly recommend mixing the tobasco with the red wine vinegarette.I had the Honey Nut Lobster, the flavors were perfect together and the seafood itself is so fresh, great quality and cooked perfectly. Also recommend the Spicy Jerk Snow Crab 🦀 You won't be disappointed!

Shaun: Best service, seafood, and drink evening place in the city center

Heather Aggus: . The service was really great, informed and friendly. I can't speak much for the atmosphere inside as we had our pup with us and enjoyed the dog friendly patio instead. The oysters came with great accoutrements and the jumbo prawn cocktail had four very meaty prawns. Although pricey, it was a special treat and buck a shuck can't be beat!

Jillybean C: Delicious drinks! Our bartender knows how to serve it up!

marc-antoine Le Roux: Food taste amazing, the sauce for the food are very goodMy favourite food in EdmontonAmbiance is low keyLove the place

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.: what do users think?

Melissa Jensen: I didn't have high expectations for this restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised! My hubby and I had margaritas with the keepsake shaker, they tasted delicious. My son got the slushie with a keepsake cup and it was a show stopper! The projector in the bottom is very bright and fun for the kids. The service was good but was a little slow to start, which was odd because it wasn't that busy. But once we ordered food it came out quickly. We had the platter with fish, shrimp, and fish hush puppies. It all tasted really good and we each enjoyed our meals. A bit expensive but we did get a few extras and the food tasted great so it was worth it.

Zayde Vogler: was lovely to talk to definitely recommend.

Ruth's Chris Steak House: what do users think?

Brad Anderson: Had the pleasure of taking my beautiful girl and her three children for dinner on Saturday, Aug. 17. Morgan was our server and was very proper, professional, and friendly. We ordered: caesar salads for everyone, the large seafood tower, the tomahawk ribeye, 16oz bone in tenderloin, mushrooms, asparagus, french fries, and the potatoes au gratin.Everything was exceptional, and the steaks were a beautiful medium rare and paired it with the Baker cabernet. The pacing of the meal was perfect, I do not like feeling rushed. For desserts, we shared the banana cream pie, key lime pie, cheesecake, and the creme brule, which were all great....that banana cream pie is exceptionally incredibleEverything was spot on.Thank you to all the staff, the nice gentlemen who filled our water, Morgan, and the kitchen for a memorable evening.

Debraj Dutta: I had an absolutely delightful experience celebrating my birthday with my wife at Ruth's. Everything was just perfect! I ordered a 16oz medium rare rib eye, and it was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour. The garlic bread we ordered was incredibly delicious, even though it may have been a tad bit oilier than expected. But who can resist indulging in some comforting and delectable garlic bread, right? 😄Our server, Tyler, truly added to the wonderful experience. His knowledge and warmth in service were commendable. Tyler recommended a local brew beer that had this delightful citrus note to it – a fantastic choice, as I thoroughly enjoyed the drink. As a delightful surprise, they treated me to a Crème Brûlée, which was an absolute treat and generously portioned enough to share between two. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our celebration even more special. From the delicious food to the attentive service, our time at Ruth's was truly memorable. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to others, and my wife and I are already looking forward to returning for another fantastic dining experience. Thank you, Ruth's, for making my birthday celebration a remarkable one!

Wifes Hubby: Great food and excellent service from the staff. They made it a special anniversary dinnerParking: $17 for parking beside the restaurant

Dustin Weinbrecht: Ruth Chris is one my favorite steakhouses anywhere. This particular location is in downtown Edmonton. Great choice for a date night, and a phenomenal steak. Ambiance, service and food are all really good. Not cheap, but worth the cost imo. The lobster bisque phenomenal and the shrimp appetizer is excellent. That said, for a Ruth Chris the steak was not quiet as good as what I’m used to but still solid.

Kaitlyn M: Amazing food and service!! We came in with no reservation and we sat in the bar side which was really beautiful. It was busy and I believe it was actually the manager Jen?? who served us and she made us feel welcomed and took us through the menu and even bought us desert for my partner’s birthday! The food was unbelievable especially the lamb and the mac and cheese with lobster on top. I’m going to bring my mom for her birthday. A really cool experience here and I understand the hype.

Sheryl McGuire: 40 oz porterhouse and sweet potato casserole. We really appreciated that the steak stayed hot due to their unique methods of serving it. It was extremely tender. The casserole too was very delicious. Dessert was the Banana Cream Pie and it was awesome! We are glad to have been to Ruth Chris!!

Victor Sharkov: The steak was wonderful!A worthy place to spend an evening with friends in a relaxed atmosphere!

Stacy Marshall: Was a fabulous experience... the food was so delicious and the staff was efficient and friendly.Dietary restrictions: They make all fresh in their kitchen and can also make sure that nothing gets cross contaminated in the kitchen...

Shayla Skare: and all the wait staff was phenomenal. We ordered the tomahawk steak and it was delicious and the waitress wrapped the bone in a to go container so I can take it home to my dogs. I have 5 dogs and they've all had their share of it and after a month of having it, it still disappears then reappears making the dogs happy.

Under The High Wheel: what do users think?

G: Amex accepted. Went in at 10am on a Sunday and did not have to wait. Shortly after we sat, the people waiting for a table packed the whole hallway. Ordered borscht soup, traditional breakfast with smoked salmon, and waffles with honey chicken sausages. The soup and the chicken sausages were very flavourful and not too sweet. The waffles were crunchy enough on the outside and tender on the inside. The food did take a while because of how busy the restaurant was. Would definitely come back to try the other items.

Tawnie Johnson: Such a cute place! Great service and seasonal good. Very friendly for families with great choices.Kid-friendliness: Apple sliced and peanut butter! So awesome for some safe food kids

Riki Sharma: Nestled in the heart of Whyte Ave, Under the High Wheel is a true gem that never fails to enchant and satisfy food enthusiasts. With its cozy ambiance and a menu bursting with diverse flavors, it's no wonder this restaurant has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. One dish that stoods out among the many culinary delights served at Under the High Wheel is their Roasted Corn Vegetarian Bowl. This dish is a vegetarian's dream come true, showcasing the kitchen's mastery in creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures with simple ingredients. The base of the bowl is a fluffy bed of perfectly cooked refried beans, adding a delightful creaminess to each bite. Accompanying the beans are generous portions of fresh and succulent corn. It bursts with flavor, providing a pleasant crunch that contrasts beautifully with the softness of the other ingredients. To elevate the dish further, the Roasted Corn Vegetarian Bowl is served with a side of Pico de Gallo, tangy and zesty lime-tomato vinaigrette. Its bright and citrusy notes enhance the natural flavors of the vegetables, creating a harmonious balance that will have your taste buds dancing with joy.The portion size at Under the High Wheel is generous, ensuring that you will leave the restaurant feeling satisfied and content. However, the staff made us feel like we were hindering the busy pace of the restaurant. Unfortunately, we did not feel the warm and friendly welcome we are usually greeted with.Vegetarian options: Specific dishes available

Ian C: Enjoyed the banksy/Warhol exhibit!

Kim: Nice facility but lacking in terms of volume, it's rather small and modest.Depends on the exhibits they have on display when you go and if your interest in them. It is currently Pop Art like Andy Warhol and Banksy and such. This was great and the galleries are clean and very cleanly laid out. It isn't huge in terms of volume as it seems most of it is on loan from a single private collector. The other galleries, especially the third floor video galleries are VERY avant garde and takes a particular mindset to interpret, which I do not possess, humbly speaking. The bottom floor exhibition was closed when I went so there wasn't too much to see.

jf paquette: Beautiful pieces of work to be seen, and the music gallery was interesting. 3 floors of beautiful art work. They were hosting the indigenous artists market, at the same time as my visit which in itself was interesting to see, all the traditional art and items they make.Definitely would go back, especially if the market is there again.

Kendelle Marr: Love the AGA! Recently saw the Pop Art exhibition with Warhol, Lichtenstein, Banksy, etc. Amazing! Plus, the architecture is wonderful.

Taruni Tyagi: The experience was different.... contemporary art is beautiful here...gallery is not as big as the art gallery of Ontario and has less of the traditional oil paintings etc.but is definitely a breath of fresh air with more current work on display... building architecture is intriguingVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Mali Rabinovich: Great exhibition from Warhol to Banksy!!! Love it a lot
