Kate m: First time here and I'm blown away. Incredible staff and activities. Are allowed to park your trailer after check out to go to west ed and come back for it. Very dog friendly enviroment. Can't wait to come back here. Also, only 15 min from west ed.

john Dela Cruz: this beautiful campground was so relaxing. my kids had a goodtime to play in their playground. restrooms are clean and the campground was so quiet. weve been to a lots of campgrounds outside the city thats why u decided to give it try what do we have in our city. the first thing that i found out is no long time driving and niot too crowded campground. added to my bucket list every year. and most specially to all the staff. from booking to rebooking up to personal. never been talked or deal with any rude staff. they are so easy to deal with and so helpful. 5 stars X 10 want to give you guys. keep up the goodwork...-john dela cruz

Tim Kurucz: The new owners are extremely helpful and kind and pleasant to deal with
Jeremy Brochu: This place went under new ownership recently and all the “concentration camp” comments with the photos of those crazy absurd rules are from the previous owners who were extremely strict white people.The new owners use the same pamphlets from previous owners but I can assure you half of those rules no longer apply. Me and my neighbours have fires before 7pm. On the weekends people are out drinking by their fires till 1am-3am.I feel bad for the new owners as they are actually really cool Indian guys who are very easy going and are not as NEARLY AS CLOSE to strict as all these reviews state. The old owners wouldn’t let you stay here if your trailer was older than FIVE years old. New owners are way more relaxed.. I stay here in my 1994 Golden Falcon no issues what so ever.

Julie CONNORS: As a visitor I need to check in and it was a great experience. The guy who helped me out was friendly and was able to direct me where I needed no problem. You are given a map of the site, even though it isn't that big. Clean sites and something you wouldn't expect in the city.
Andreas Auger: Stayed here most of the summer and fall of 2022 the owner Rick is a pretty helpful and knowledgeable guy about rvs, quiet and close to Edmonton. Most of the lower star reviews seem to come from the babies that need full hookups and 5 star service to enjoy themselves camping. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, quiet campground with amenities, this is your place. Stayed here almost 2 months off and on and would definitely recommend.

Angela: A nice place for family camping. There are plenty of activities for kids. Private heated swimming pool. They had a food truck that Saturday. So, I'm not sure if they have it every weekend. First time but we enjoyed it. Washrooms and showers were just nearby and clean. Half an hour away from Edmonton, why not? A quick getaway for a weekend.

Shawn Mccann: Me and my family rented a Yurt for the weekend. The yurt was very clean and well looked after and beautiful. The outdoor cook area was fantastic as well it had a bbq and a counter for meal prep and a wash basin and picnic table. I loved looking at the stars at night through the sky light in the yurt. And the walking trails were nice and well maintained. The amenities on sight were clean and upkept and there is lots of area for games from horse shoes to volleyball.
Karla Rice: , and even the coffee mugs were cute 😂 . We brought our own comfy chairs for the fire pit which I would recommend but they did have some if needed. I was glad we brought a few water bottles simply because it was more convenient than going to get drinking water.
Priscila Alvarado: Wake up in the forest surrounded by natural beauty in a comfortable luxurious dome, decorated with beautiful pieces and everything you need for a tranquil glamping experience. This gem is family operated and is a must try for a romantic or even a family getaway. We stayed in their DARK SKY dome that comes with its own firepit and covered BBQ/prep area, and our adult kids stayed in one of their cabins, PATTYS PORCH, just a short walk from us. Giving us some romantic privacy with also being able to enjoy some family time. The staff is very friendly and focused on your stay being a pleasant experience in nature. You feel like you are a million miles away, but the drive is less than an hour away from Edmonton, a quick, easy trip to recharge, and be one with nature.

Tracy Kyle: The wine that accompanied the board was perfectly paired. Shweta even brought us an apertif from Italy to induce our hunger, and gave us a gift of a homemade bowl. The story she told us about supporting the children making these bowls was unbelievable, so much kindness exuded from our host!Thank you to Elk Island Retreat for hosting us for our first anniversary celebration. We will be telling our friends and family about this getaway spot and will be coming back ourselves for sure.There is also an amazing new event space available if you are looking for a very classy and peaceful outdoor venue.
Katrina St. Pierre: Loved our stay in the Dark Sky Geodome! Very clean, super cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. It was on the edge of the campground, so a very quiet location. This Geodome faces a scenic forested area. Close to Elk Island Park for an easy day trip in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Stephen Quinn: We just woke up after our first night in our new Insta Cabin and are loving it! The set up took us less than 15 minutes and was easily pulled behind our small SUV without issue. The Insta Cabin and Knotty Pine team were extremely helpful in answering any questions we had. The loft is very handy for storing your luggage, food, or it can even act as an extra sleeping space. We look forward to the many adventures we will have in our new Insta Cabin!
cole MD: Amazing product, great price, quality is outstanding. I think I’m going spend the whole summer in my insta cabin. Who knows maybe even this winter.

James Peto: . Reasonable cost. Efficiently run. Clean sites. Nice for seniors, quiet individuals and couples or families with small well-behaved children. While I appreciate a well-ordered campground and am quiet myself, I found the heavy emphasis on rules and constant double checking by email prior to arrival that I intend to follow them a little unusual. It makes me wonder if they've had problems in the past.Walkability: Nice walking trails in nature.
Tori Hui: This is the destination of our family annual camping. Love the proximity to the riverbank. Multiple playgrounds are a plus for family with kids. The staff there are super friendly. Tho we only go there twice a year, they remember us next year.

Kenneth Holden: My first time there recently. And wow it's just ever a beautiful place. Very close to Edmonton if you want to escape to the country and yet be close to the city with beautiful surroundings. This is a wonderful place to go.It's so nice. It completely caught me off guard.
