I was late to my appointment due to traffic from Calgary and Dorothy never made me feel rushed, she listened to my feedback and she SNATCHED me to the high heavens which was amazing. I nearly walked out not being all the way convinced I had seen my dress but happy with my experience and Dorothy pulled one final look , not at all close to my size, and worked her magic and I felt the over whelming feeling like I had found my dress. Andrea began my appointment by asking questions about myself and the guests that joined me for the appointment. She also asked me questions about the style of dresses I had been looking at/wanting to try on and repeatedly checked in about the dresses she was selecting. I felt heard and taken care of throughout my whole appointment and even the guests I had with me felt that the experience was great!The Bridal Boutique carries dresses of very high quality which is obvious in the way that they look and feel when on; I am so glad that this is where I found my dress and I can hardly wait for it to arrive!

She listened to what we had planned for a wedding venue so far, my ideas of what I wanted for a dress, and looked through my reference photos. Right away she started pulling dresses that matched what I was looking for and were comfortably in my budget. With Claire’s help, I found a dress I absolutely love and can’t wait to wear on my wedding! It wasn’t quite what I had in mind coming in but perfectly matched my style and vision for the wedding. Claire was never pushy and made sure I really was happy with the dress before settling on it.

However, my expectations were not only met, but blown completely out of the park! Every lovely member of staff was kind, attentive, and just lovely to be around. Kaitlyn: Such a great experience. I had an appointment and had Wendy initially helping me out, the one downside was sharing a stylist, but they phoned me a couple days ahead and warned me of the possibility due to coming on a Saturday. Wendy multitasked between me and another bride wonderfully and was very helpful. I narrowed it down to 2 dresses that I loved, but had another appointment later on as I live 2.5 hours from the Edmonton area. I ended up coming back to David's Bridal as I couldn't stop thinking of the other 2 dresses. Jasmeen helped us out when we came back and she was great, set us up right away with the 2 dresses I wanted to try again and allowed me to try on a couple different ones as well. Very great experience, especially with having 6 ladies join me in finding my dress.

The 3 ladies working the front were amazing and so understanding and helpful. I was able to see the seamstress, also amazing, and she is altering my dress while not changing the look of it only 2 weeks before my wedding. I went to them all. here, I didn't feel rushed, it's a beautiful shop and it wasn't overcrowded and busy like some of the other shops. I wasn't sure I'd find a dress here and so I went to my top 3 stores the first day and the second day, came to this one and I'm glad I did! I left the store with the dress in mind to think about as I'm not a person to make quick decisions on a large purchase. 2 hours later I called back and said that's the dress and she fit me in at the end of the day to try on again and show everyone. I tried on about 50 dresses and this store had the right one for me!

Chelsea Halisheff: Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place. Prior to going here I went to 5 other stores, one made me pay to try on 5 dresses, all the stores made me pick out all the dresses, carry them and not have help at all. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed. We got a big private room for my party, 2 big couches. It was very roomy. For my appointment I had Jessica, she was amazing, understanding and went over and above for me. She knew my price range and stayed right in it, she gave me ideas on what I could do to my dress or what we could change. The staff there are phenomenal; they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and like a million bucks! They have so many dress options for every type of bride and the staff are very knowledgeable about their products. I believe my consultants name was Alesha; she’s amazing!! It’s a clean and impressive establishment. 10/10 would recommend!

Cara Noble: I went to four different shops and Pure Bridal was by far the best experience. Not only was our consultant Natalie awesome and fun, but she was so willing to work with my tastes and style. I found that the dresses I tried on at other shops were all very similar, and coincidentally always very near budget. But at Pure they found ones that I wouldn't have picked myself, but that just absolutely somehow worked. The setup for trying on was also the best of the four I went to - instead of having to walk out each time, the pedestal is right in the change room and your guests get a curtain reveal which is really cool.

Shannie Reyes: I had a great experience wedding dress shopping at Pure Bridal! It's my first time trying on dresses and I found the one! There was no pressure in purchasing anything and I felt really great about that.First of all, I had 5 people go with me to my appointment and I found that most places don't allow more than 3 guests with you. I called them before booking the appointment and they had no problems with 5 people. Then, I wanted to change my appointment time 2 weeks before and again, they accommodated my request!When we got to the store, we were immediately welcomed in and asked to take a seat. My consultant asked me what kind of dresses I was looking for and what budget I am working with.One of the main reasons why I picked Pure Bridal was on their website, it showed they had dresses ranging from 1000-5000. My budget was around $1200. My consultant told me with the increasing costs, their dresses now starts at $1500. I was a bit disappointed but still decided to try on dresses as long as they are $1500.I probably tried on less than 10 dresses during my appointment. My consultant was very helpful and listened well to my feedback on each dress I tried on. Then she asked if I was willing to try off the rack dresses - I agreed. She pulled this beautiful Essense of Australia gown that's on sale for $500!!! It ended up being my dress.After that, we tried on veils and while I didn't end up getting one from the store, the consultant was very helpful.Overall I still highly recommend going to Pure Bridal! I do hope they update their website regarding the price range of their dresses though.

Alandra Kruszewski: I went to Delica three times - twice for trying on dresses and once for a fitting. Each time the staff were so helpful and friendly. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Their trying on spaces are large and accommodating and the store has natural light in the main area. I found my wedding dress here and they were great at walking me through different options for the dress and knowledge of ordering timelines. I felt like they really knew their designers. Very happy I went here! Would recommend to other brides and for bridesmaid dresses!

Krista Trim: Not only is this store beautiful but all of the staff is so incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms are intimate and you feel as if you are the only bride in the store. I had an appointment with Nicole and from the moment we walked in we felt so welcome and excited to try on the beautiful selection of gowns. The gowns they have selected for their store are so unique and unlike anything you will find other places. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on, and Nicole was so patient as I tried many other dresses on after. There was absolutely no pressure to commit to a dress during my appointment and she suggested to leave, think about it and come back for a second appointment to reaffirm that the dress was in fact it. The customer service is outstanding and I will recommend Delica to everyone, I can't wait for my dress to come in and to wear it on my big day. Thank you for everything!

I loved how each designer was described to me and that I was able to help pick out dresses. Wedding dress shopping was never something I ever looked forward to when I dreamed about getting married, so I was nervous going into this appointment. Nicole made the whole appointment feel like fun and interacted with my fiance and grooms-woman to make everyone feel included. I walked away from that appointment genuinely shocked that it was such a positive experience. I felt listened to, never once did I feel like Nicole was pushing a sale, but just wanted to get to know me as a bride and be a part of this experience. Cassie Sontag: Delica was the first bridal boutique I visited, based on a recommendation from a friend, and after visiting other boutiques I feel the need to leave a review of my experience at Delica. I am a plus sized bride, and I was worried about trying on gowns in straight sizes and feeling like a whale. I asked Nicole at the beginning of the appointment if they had any plus size samples I could try on, and that I understood if I couldn’t try a majority of the samples. She said something along the lines of “you can try any dress on that you’d like, no matter the size, don’t worry about that!” And I did indeed try every dress that spoke to me. And I felt beautiful. And I didn’t once think about my weight or the size of the dress or feel self conscious. I cannot say the same for other boutiques, as I’ve recently had unpleasant experiences. I just want to commend Nicole on her professionalism and kindness and thank her for making my first dress shopping experience so positive. Though I did not find my dress that day, I would highly recommend checking out Delica if you’d like the experience of feeling like an absolute goddess.

Not only do they have an outstanding selection of dresses but you have a private area for friends and family along with areas to check the dress in natural light. Most importantly for me, they had the most inclusive sizing of sample dresses of anywhere I've been along with carrying brands that you can order dresses in 16+. The stylist I had Kaitlyn was outstanding and was so helpful that I found THE DRESS.

Mary Hodges: I definitely recommend this bridal salon. My plus sized daughter did not feel beautiful or bride-like after visiting several other places. They had such a poor selection and most could not even be tried on. We found Bridal Plus online and decided to give it one more try. Donna immediately made my daughter feel at ease and readily found gowns for her to try. We found a beautiful dress which came in exactly when promised. I highly recommend Donna to anyone wanting to feel like a beautiful bride, no matter the size.
Alanna Ross: Rented full piece suits for the groom and groomsmen for our wedding. Beautiful selection and great experience choosing the suit. Donna ordered different ones in for us to try and we were very happy with our choice. Suits came clean and looked great on our day. My husbands suit came in in the wrong size 5 days before the wedding and Donna rushed it here. It was stressful but she made it happen. We had some issues with open hours being different than what was posted online, which was frustrating when driving from out of town. Would rent from them again!

Katie Heber: I went to many bridal shops looking for a specific type of dress one that was modest yet elegant. I also emailed a bunch of bridal shops sending them a picture of what I was looking for to see if they had any similar. Many shops said I would just have to book an appointment and didn’t say whether or not they had anything similar. It was getting quite frustrating and the time was ticking that I needed my dress for. I emailed Amy at simply white and right away she sent me a few pictures of what she had. There were a couple I thought were pretty close. Then Amy suggested a FaceTime call since I was eight hours away to look over the dresses that way. I put the deposit on before I was able to make it there to see it in person and just hoped it would be the one. Amy was so friendly and professional and her space is very homey feeling and comfortable. In the end all I had to do to my dress was cut the sleeves off and trim the train down and turned it into exactly what I wanted! Amy I can’t thank you enough for your hospitality and taking the time to send multiple pics back and forth and FaceTiming me. I will tell everybody I know that’s getting married about you and simply white bridal!

This cute house has 2 spaces for brides and their families and it was beautifully decorated. The consultant started by getting to know my story and my plans for the wedding to help guide my decision - looking to marry in the mountains so she said satin and heavy dresses were out. Super helpful, not pushy, and walked out of their sample sale with The Dress!
Lucia: I went for the sample sale and they had a good selection. I bought my wedding dress 50% off! Definitely was a good purchase it was exactly what I wanted, fitted and with sparkles. The European style dresses are beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated her suggestions for what I could change to make the dress perfect for me. I drove 3 hours from Airdrie to attend this shop. I shopped with my Fiancée who was very opinionated. Lol he clipped dresses and made “wonderful” suggestions. He made the staff laugh and Anna took his humour in stride. She was able to see both our visions and merge that into the perfect look. I could have driven 20 minutes to Calgary but this was worth the trip! She understood the assignment, I told her it was an African/Jamaican wedding and she found us the right amount of modesty along with a touch of sexy!I also really want to highlight that I initially went in there to buy a $2200 dress. I know they make commission as well. Anna didn’t put me in the more expensive dress, she actually pushed for the dress that was almost a thousand dollars cheaper!! To me, that shows that she cares about the person and not just the Sale. I loved this!! I loved Anna and I loved Bailando!Please judge for yourself and not based off silly reviews. It is a home turned Bridal Boutique. The street parking can be a little busy, this is true. I also waited a few minutes for them to grab me from the cold as they had other appointments. I actually called 30 minutes before my appointment and they told me I couldn’t come earlier as they were busy. This is a small business, let’s be understanding. Besides, I’m from Toronto so this usually makes places more exclusive lol.With all that being said. They still get a 5 Star from me!!! Go get your dress Ladies!!

The experience in the store is so different than any other, as you and your party have the place all to yourselves-- you don't feel rushed and don't have other brides and people running around. Marta helped us, and was so welcoming right from the start. This was the first place I shopped for a wedding dress and I ended up finding my dress right away. They also had very great deals which helped a lot! A variety of styles and prices.

I highly recommend, my appointment was supposed to be only 1hr as well but we ended up staying for almost 2 with no feeling of being rushed to get out for taking so long, opposed to the other store we tried. They did have some things for us to look at, while other stores had nothing, so that was a very big bonus. The staff, despite being busy, did their best to help and the one younger girl with redish wavey/curly hair was AWESOME. So thanks for trying your best to help us! We were not able to find anything that worked for us, but I do recommend giving them a try for all other dresses, and maybe what they had for options with bridesmaids will work for someone else.

Kaia May: I found my dress at Urban Bride with Steph's expert guidance! Steph was super friendly, not remotely pushy, respectful of my budget, and an expert in both the store's inventory as well as practical parts of picking a dress. She also was very mindful of how I might feel about being in a state of undress.I was in the pink fitting room, which was quite spacious. There was a mirror behind the changing curtain and two mirrors in the rest of the room, which made it easy to see both the front and back of the dresses. The lighting was pretty good too. Steph walked us through the store, pointing out which sections were in my budget and in my size, and we had time during the appointment to go through everything- though my budget made that a faster process.They had a wide range of prices, especially in the off-the-rack section. There was one dress for $250, and several for $500- though if you're reading this any later than August 2022 don't count on that. I emailed before my appointment to check if they had dresses in my budget and they responded very quickly.I had visited one other store previously and felt pressured by the stylist to have immediate feedback and change dresses faster. There was absolutely none of that from Steph, though she was still able to help me figure out what I liked and didn't like from each dress so we could get closer with each try.I left the store with a dress I loved, within my budget, and feeling really good about it! I love that they have little rituals for if you buy a dress- it gives you a second to catch up and enjoy the moment!

Agnes Domingo: This is where I bought my wedding gown. I like that they have plenty of options for my budget. You can go in and browse, and once you have decided to try on a few dresses, that’s when they charge you $30. The fitting experience was breezy, the staff there are very helpful and friendly. Just don’t have your dress altered here. Go to Leo’s Tailor.I was just not happy with the seamstress. She’s never on time with both appointments I had with her, and having only 2 weeks left before my wedding day, for some reason she thought the pick up date is 20 days later. 🤯 If you are a bride, you know how this can be stressful. I asked for any sort of compensation for the delay, any inconvenience fee. But when I picked up the dress 4 days later than the original pick up schedule, I didn’t get any aside from an apology and a hug. I am not happy with her service at all. Yeah sure, she can alter the dress and did well on it, but she needs to respect customers’ time. There are so many other things to handle for a wedding and any delay is not acceptable.

Svitlana sewed me a custom grad dress, and all I gave her to work from was a tiny picture I found in a magazine! It was exactly what I wanted. Years later, Svitlana helped me find the perfect wedding dress and she made some alterations, making it more comfortable and unique!
