Sarah Oddoye: Ooh the baked goodies! Loved the variety. Don't forget to pick a number when you walk in 😆

Judy Cosby: Amazing selection

Nhaamilk: By far the most beautiful and delicious baked goods, backed by a well-renowned reputation and a passionate, knowledgable service team.

Michael Dunington: Something you love is always in here.

Emelle Why: to try as well which I love. But my favourite thing is that they have coffee and remedy chai!!! The west end is a desert wasteland for local coffee joints so this is a welcomed reprieve for anyone surrounded by Timmy’s and Starbucks.

Douglas Fisher: Very nice bakery with a wide assortment of goods. Seemed quite popular.

Tony Xu: Bakery items are always super fresh here. My favorites are the almond croissants and danishes. Make sure to go earlier to get the full selection!

Andrei Motsievich: Good place.

jake humkley: One of the best bakeries in the city. Love the cinnamon bread!

Garrett McKeeman: Sugared & Spiced Baked Goods Inc. is a bakery that I've been following on Twitter for a while, and I finally had the chance to visit this delightful establishment. From the moment we stepped inside, the service at Sugared & Spiced was inviting and friendly. The staff made us feel welcome, adding to the overall positive experience. The atmosphere of the bakery is truly captivating. The brick interior gives it a cool and appealing look, creating a visually pleasing bakery setting. As soon as you enter, your eyes are greeted with a colorful display of cakes and an assortment of amazing baked goods that will make your mouth water. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the s'more square. It was incredibly delicious and left us craving for more. The combination of gooey marshmallow and rich chocolate created a mouthwatering treat that was simply irresistible.Additionally, my 4-year-old son had a delightful experience with his sprinkle cookie. The cookie was adorned with colorful sprinkles, making it visually appealing and enjoyable for young ones with a sweet tooth.Overall, I highly recommend Sugared & Spiced Baked Goods Inc. Wes Inaba: Sugared and Spiced is one of Edmonton's best kept secrets. This little bakery off Whyte Avenue is only accessible from the alley across from the Varscona Theatre. Not a lot of folks know about it because it doesn't have a front facing brand.Alas, these folks make incredible pastries. They have the best cakes and their service is impeccable...they are all so friendly and helpful.5 x 🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰

Poonam Mittra Kamal: A unique bakery between Whyte Ave and 83 Ave - just follow maps! There’s even a couple of parking spots right out front The lemon bars are SO good and get the cookies - so much more than a chocolate chip cookie! Check their hours and menu on Twitter.

Lisa Brown: Favourite spot in the city for sweet treats. The PB square is my favourite, I love it cold.

Agnieszka D: Excellent baked goods, friendly staff, and an owner whose twitter feed is an endless source of haha. The tarts alone are worth a visit. But please, please bring back the cornmeal tea cake!!!

Serena Didow: such a cute little bakery! Everything was high end, and delicious. The owner was really nice, and very welcoming! Totally recommend if you’re in the area

Konnor Borle: An amazing bakery with unique desserts and pastries, I wish it was closer to my homeBut loved it none the less!

Maher Alhajeh: showcases seasonal fruits atop a light pastry cream, while éclairs boast a creamy filling and glossy icing. Madeleines, little sponge cakes, evoke nostalgia with every bite.Baguettes and BeyondWhile pastries take the spotlight, French bakeries also offer an array of delicious bread. The baguette, an elongated loaf with a crisp crust and a soft interior, is perhaps the most iconic. It is not just a simple bread; it's a cultural symbol of France. Pain de campagne, a rustic country bread, and brioche, a sweet, buttery dough, are equally popular choices. The ExperienceWalking into a French bakery is a sensory delight. Bakers often take pride in upholding traditional techniques, passed down through generations. The hours leading up to breakfast are particularly significant, as locals rush in to secure their favorite baguettes or croissants. Witnessing a French bakery come alive during these morning hours is a sight to behold.Innovation and FusionWhile French bakeries stay true to their roots, they are not averse to innovation. Some modern bakeries experiment with fusion pastries, combining French flavors with influences from other cultures. This blending of culinary traditions creates unique delicacies, appealing to diverse tastes. The Art of BakingBehind the scenes, the art of baking unfolds, where bakers work with precision and dedication. From kneading dough to precisely timing baking, their skill is the secret ingredient behind every delicious creation.Passion and love for the craft shine through in every pastry, ensuring that customers experience the authentic flavors of France.ConclusionFrench bakeries offer an enchanting journey into the heart of Parisian delights. Nathan Rosie: They had a huge selection and everything looked delicious, and it was an amazing atmosphere inside.

Louise Pham: I have tried a lot of Macarons from many different brands and stores, and I can confidently say that this store offer the best Macarons in town.I came here a couple times to buy Macarons and had an interesting conversation with the owner. I figured out he was a Chef at Fauchon - the highest level of luxury bakery. No wonder why all the macarons I have tried there was so tasty. They’re never too sweet like some other places. Buying from sweet treats from his store is like buying goodies from Fauchon with the same quality of goodies, maybe simpler packaging and with cheaper price.

Chelsey St Onge: I went in on Thursday and bought a cake for my employees birthday and it was one of the most beautifully created cakes that I've ever seen. I chatted with the owner for a bit while he was packing it up for me and he let me know how long they've been there and that there's a st albert location. Which is funny as I actually live in St Albert and had driven down there just to buy this cake lol He said that they do a kids high tea which I will definitely be bringing my kids back for! It's a beautiful shop and they have a large selection of gorgeous treats! Highly recommend!!

Jacqueline Kennedy-Green: First of all, so friendly and nice, passionate about his creations. Second, the vast selection of both food and baked goods - unexpected in this small unassuming little shop. Third, omg, the tastes. We purchased a variety of baked goods, and each one was the best any of us has ever had. The care and quality shine through. This was an unexpected discovery for us today and it absolutely made our whole day. I’m going back on Tuesday 😬. And I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you/Merci!!

Iris Albrecht: I had never before tried a macaron.Well, you have the real deal here. They have soo many flavours. Yes, they are cheaper by the dozen. But. You can not just go there for THOSE. Their occasion cakes are amazing. And really. A decent price. It's not Costco. But the service is excellent and they also have a luncheon menu. That's next week.Went back. Can't manage to leave without a selection. The croissants are wonderful, the mini ones are better, you can have 2 flavours.Oh, I purchased a boxed set of macarons, so good and fresh and in the most unusual flavours, from fruit to coffee

Chocorrant Pâtisserie + Cafe: what do users think?

Marta Schoenwandt: Amazing croissants!

Tayyaba Abdullah: Amazing! Crunchy! And flavorful! I loved these croissants, I've been wanting some fresh and flavorful croissants for awhile now! Do recommend!

Bobby B: Earl grey opera cake was delicious. Many layers of Earl grey, which is one of my go-to flavours.Chocorrant croissants were excellent as well. The salted egg yolk is my favourite because it oozes that salted egg yolk inside.

Danny Lee: Awesome croissants. Great staff, very friendly and working hard. Maybe the layout is not as efficient as it takes time to restock. But the line moved so not a problem.

Rachell Wong: Curry beef is so good! Consistently delicious croissants

Megan Scott: This has sooo quickly become one of my favourite places in the city. They have some of the most delicious croissants I've ever had and the roast beef croissant sandwich makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The staff are always so incredibly friendly and the pastries, bevies, and atmosphere are always amazing. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a good dessert date or lunch date spot. Not to mention the location is amazing for other shopping too.

Felix Falgui: Had some time to kill before my wife and I had to go our next appointment so we decided to try this place out. Decided to get the 4pc crossiant for $18. Glad we did cause just having one would have made me crave and get another one. They have an amazing selection for whatever fancies your taste buds. For me I enjoyed the salted egg yolk the best. Sweet and salty, it's just the perfect bite. Customer service was top notch. Everyone from the lady at the front to the staff at the back were very helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed my crossiant with just plain black coffee so I won't be able to comment on that end but in saying that my coffee was perfect with what I ordered. We will definitely comeback to this place. ❤️

Thori Jones: The best croissants I’ve ever had. God blessAmazing selection!

Ayesha Ansari: Croissants are my all time fave carb. I'm so grateful that this place exists. Weve tried pretty much everything so far! The butter almond, curried beef, creme brulee and matcha are our go to. Such a cute little cafe!

Marine Cummings: I went there with my friends for lunch and everything was so delicious! I wish definitely go back again sooner⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Li: Prepare to be transported to croissant heaven, where every bite is a revelation. Chocorrant Pâtisserie has truly earned its place as the home of the best croissant in the world, delighting patrons with its exceptional quality, impeccable flavors, and an experience that is nothing short of extraordinary. The place is small, but the flavor is delicious.

Kelsey A: and it was beautiful, but the taste was lacking as it didn’t have much flavour. The atmosphere was modern with about 4 or so tables that would sit 2 people each. My mom and I opted to sit outside, which was nice. There was approximately 3 bistro table sets outside. It was good, and I would get a croissant from here again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for one.

Julia Bondarenko: I have never tried such delicious croissants before! This is the best place! Beautiful staff and excellent food! Thank you!

Wes Inaba: Incredible designer croissants and super coffee at Chocorrant Patisserie and Cafe. This little spot adds to the charm and renaissance of 124 Street. The location is clean and bright. There are a couple of spots outside too to sit.The only drawback is that the service is often very slow. And the servers often aren't very helpful or attentive.Otherwise, amazingly fresh products and very attractive display. The coffee is also very good!4 x 🥐🥐🥐🥐

Soyeon K: I tried ham and strawberry cheesecake so far. They were both delicious! Looking forward to try ube and matcha 💕💕💕

Raman Grewal: ~$6 for large drip coffee n croissant. Both delicious 😋

iSlaySoulz: The Roast Beef Melt was very good the meat was good quality I did try it without the horseradish mayo and it was still great. A little more cheese on the melt would make it even better as there was only a small amount of cheese in the middle. The Cinnamon Swirl croissant had a great texture and the flavours were not overpowering. The coffee was also good and the people behind the counter were nice. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Artistic Bake Shop: what do users think?

Drew Wolsey: Pretty tasty soft pretzel

Leila McMann: In my opinion this is the best bakery in Edmonton! Their pastries and cookies are simply amazing.

Eileen Pawluk: I absolutely LOVE their Bread and BUNS!!!

It was just right so I often come to this place if I need a nice chocolate cake. The place smelled great too!

Carolyn Zacharuk: Great bakery with lots of choices.

Nichole Stafford: Great European bakery! They had the most delicious German treats, and amazing breads.

Yana Davydenko: Sooooo delicious!!! Nice place with really cool bakery.

Simran Arora: Excellent mango cake

Chang Ho Lim: Ruby made an awesome birthday cake for us. Thanks Ruby

C: Absolutely love this bakery. The pork buns made fresh are beyond delicious.

Leroy Carter: My friend went to this place to get a birthday cake for our boss who was celebrating her birthday during that time. She was so excited to show us the cake made from this place. To our surprise, the cake tasted great! And she even got us tarts from Ruby's as well and all of us in the office liked them.

Gretchen Herrera: I enjoyed their egg tart a lot because of its unique flavour, which I like so much. I ended up eating three. Their cakes can be custom made and I saw other very happy with the outcome of their cakes. I love the other pastries available at this place. The fruit toppings were fresh and sweet.

Michelle N: Got the coconut cream bun, pineapple bun, and egg tarts. The buns are so light and fluffy! And they all tasted great, not too sweet but still full of nice flavour. Will definitely go back again.

Ava Chen: Mango cake is the best ever.! However, I love all kinds of brand and cake in the store. It is the best in Edmonton.

Brio Bakery: what do users think?

Renee Moisan: These treats were brought in by a colleague at work. They looked sooooo good, so I had to try one. It was so fresh and tasty. This is definitely one of my favorite locations for pastries.

Randy Smith: Small bakery, but it serves up great breads and treats. Coffee as well. Went there on a Saturday morning around 10 a.m. and it was really busy, lineup outside.

Elva Fay: I have been craving for a good croissant for a long time and finally got a chance to visit! It may or may not be the best one in town but certainly has a good croissant. I’d prefer a more crispy crust but the one I got may be sitting on the counter for a little while since I came in not so long before it closes. Both the butter croissant and chocolate croissant are layered, light, buttery and soft on the inside. Try it!

olivia: Olive loaf lives up to the hype!

Skyler Blakely: Good Bread, lovely staff. Coffee has some kick!

Liam Johnson: I can't speak highly enough about this bakery, There is nothing that they serve that comes short of spectacular. I have been coming here for years and if anything they have only gotten better. The bread, pastries, and of course the cruffins are all perfection.

Val Strom: Great bake shop, but go by lunchtime or earlier because everything sells out!

paul walker: That bread is so good and I’m not just saying that cause I got good service. thanks 😊

J C: I cannot recommend Brio enough! We were there this week and loaded up on bread, cookies, and buns for the weekend. I love they use natural ingredients and their sourdough method is absolutely delicious… has a very slight sourdough taste but isn’t heavy or sour. I am borderline gluten intolerant and I have no issues eating their products. Their buns with sesame seeds and garlic on top.. not sure what they’re called - you will want more than one.Get there early because their croissants and pastries sell out quick - for good reason! This paired with iconoclast next door - on my god. Dlish!!!!!!

Karan Kumar: Get the Olive bread you won't regret it

9902 9902: The absolute best Croissants EVER❤️, it's become a weekly tradition to come here with my love and enjoy there incredibly delicious croissants

Brandon Clarke: My neighborhood bakery, always fresh products and super friendly staff! Go early cause they get busy fast

Carlene Moss: This bakery is amazing! I love everything they have. Only place I get my bread. There lattes are great too. Just wish they were open more days but I get it. I also wish they had a patio.

Pedram Parnianpour: Incredible! Highly recommended.

Boulangerie Bonjour: what do users think?

Adam Fizer: Great bakery with better hours now.

Missy ice: Excellent sourdough. First time in the new location. We went in on July 29 and found the cheese to be severely lacking in selection. I don’t think that’s the norm. The layout is weird in that you have to line up and pay first before being able to peruse all the items available. The person who helped us was a quiet lady but we couldn’t hear her and found the service very slow.

D Barg: Awesome place

Lisette V: The best breads in town. Excellent selection of international cheeses.

Mj Smith: The pastries are delightful and there's a wide selection of bread, condiments and even cheese I'll be back to try.Equally important is this is a barrier free business. In an area where I physically can't get into a large number of shops because they aren't accessible for my wheelchair, it's fantastic to see a barrier free business. There's only a handful of small businesses in the area that really strive to be inclusive. This is one of them.

David Brown: Great new expanded location on Whyte Ave. Now, it cements this iconic bakery to the neighborhood. Expanded French cheese offerings, and expanded baked goods selections makes this a must go weekly staple visit now!

Tess Danae: How dare this magical place be so close to my home! The pastries are to die for and the bread is incredible!

Nora Romero: Great Costumers Service. Frist time Thanks.

Karen S: This bakery has two items that we keep coming back for, and these are olive bread on Saturdays, and their baguettes. Their pain au chocolat is divine. This is also an amazing place for a wide selection of French cheeses, and some Quebec cheeses. We often have delicious bread and cheeses as a special lunch treat from Bonjour. Love their new location, and the added selection of cheese accompaniments, and savoury crackers.

Deus Templorum: Fresh baked bread and peanut friendly. They also have local honey and other goods plus a large variety of nice cheeses to go with your loaf.

Mariya Beik: A Taste of Heaven in Edmonton on Whyte Ave.

Johwanna Alleyne: All around excellence and now with an expanded cheese counter and French butter

Linh B.: Love their flaky danishes. cash or debit only.

Dawn Terry: Hands down the best breads ever!

Danielle Jeannotte: Best bread in Edmonton! I love love love their sesame crusted bread. Unfortunately it is hard to snag one of these because they sell out, and don't make them every day. Their focaccia is also decadent. All the breads are wonderful. I used a few of their breads for a winter get together and everyone raved about them quite passionately lol. Their Danishes are also decadent and wonderful. Highly recommend this bakery. Just wish open hours were more accessible.

Vienna Bakery: what do users think?

kevin warner: they have been bakers to my family for many years and yet were always excited to go back. great bread, wonderful treats

Peter Reinhards: Great bakery and amazing pretzels

Daniel van Bakel: Very Clean & a Good Assortment of Treats.I Enjoy having a Great Bakery.

Michelle Wilson: A nice little Bakery, however, when we got the "bagels" home, I would not have classified them as bagels, more like bread in a bagel shape. Now Costco has bagels, and these were definitely not the same texture. We tried putting cream cheese on it, and it didn't hold up very well, but when we treated like bread, it was fine. The flavours were good though, which is why I'm still giving this a 5 star rating.

J: Delicious bread! So fresh, I would def recommend this bakery!

Rae Lee: The best black forest cakes ever. I love that they give you the option for mini cakes. For the longest time i thought this place was closed/abandoned due to the area it is placed. Such a beautiful store , my new go to.

Shannon White: Awesome Sour dough bread. This bakery is a Hidden gem

Susan Bergunde: Really good buns and bakery but prices are very high on some of their products and for the size, it doesn't warrant such high prices.Staff are mostly friendly and polite. The store is clean and organized.

James Saunders: Best sourdough bread on the planet

Lawrence Driol: Baked fresh what more can you ask for.

J. Preuss: Location is a bit difficult to access. But their baked goods are great, grabbed a few things this morning. Got 2 of their sourdough loads to try out today.

The Art of Cake: what do users think?

Frank Baumgartner: Great baked treats! Wonderful service and a quaint cutesy atmosphere

Natasha Chalupa: Gloria and her team did an amazing job with our wedding cake! The entire planning process was thorough and easy, and the cake was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend The Art of Cake for your next wedding or event!

Kathleen Robins: I recently had a late lunch at this wonderful and unexpected surprise. I had their chilli and cornbread and it was outstanding and every bit as good as my mom’s and my chilli. The cornbread was perfection. The portions were generous and very good value for quality and size. The decor inside is delightful and there is a dog friendly patio. I wish I lived locally as I would return again and again. We also got some treats to go including a brownie and a date matrimonial square. I’ve only shared the brownie so far but it was definitely a top notch brownie and the shaved chocolate on top added to the decadence. I met both Gloria and her son on my visit and both of them were friendly, helpful, hospitable, and a delight to meet. I cannot recommend this business highly enough. Wish there was The Art of Cake in my home in Napier, New Zealand.

Rana H: Consistently delivers the most delicious afternoon tea & lunch. The best quiche & scones I’ve ever had.

Michelle W.: My friend and I had brunch last weekend and we had a good time. The pastries were amazing, we shared a teapot but I forgot to take a picture of it. I would definitely recommend this place.

Bricklin Sterling: upon delivery and in great condition. The flavor was good as well! Will be ordering again!

Janice Bannink: The mini cupcakes are to die for!!! A great way to sample all the different flavours. Any cake or sweet treat I have had has been amazing!

Gwen Gryphon: Everything I’ve had at The Art of Cake is incredible: the cakes, cupcakes, the soups. LOVE their icing so so much… and I’m not a big fan of any icing. Had the tomato bisque recently and it was flavour heaven! For special occasions or just for lunch out with friends, wonderful food and service.

Lin Ring: I recently picked up a couple dozen cupcakes from the art of cake. I had them made for a birthday, they were fantastic! Our guests loved them. Not only were the cupcakes delicious, the service was amazing. Professionalism and politeness from the order to the pick-up. The art of cake has definitely earned another return customer!

Ansh Sehrawat: One of the coolest places in Edmonton!!

Laurel Neu: Went there today for high tea, and the food and presentation was amazing! The two of us in our party who have been to high tea at The Empress in Victoria both said this was better. Only downside was that there was no choice of tea offered, but the black tea was very good quality.

Ali Nasroollahiyan: It was great, it was really awesome

Stephanie barrett: Ordered a cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they were so prompt and helpful with my design process. They were so delicious. Very very happy with the outcome and quality. Thank you guys so much!

Cheska de luna: which makes it really good!!!I've taken a lot of my friends here and they all love it! we had tea one time with our treats and the tea was really good!

Nancy Gordos: Absolutely love this place! Amazing desserts, great service, and casual vibe. Free parking which is a bonus.

krystal timm: The most delicious treats in Edmonton hands down. Staff is so warm and inviting the atmosphere is stunning. Beware after eating treats here you will be ruined for eating everyday treats for your local grocery stores.

Sunrise Bakery Ltd: what do users think?

Mark Jones: Bakes up the freshest, most delicious goods in the city! Shout out to Parth for ensuring these high standards! 5 star!

Behilu Fesseha: It is a safe place to park

Wayne Stannell: Friendly professional quick loading

Andrew: Always a quick load or unload with shipping/receiving here

Lovepreet Khaira: Very good place to unload. Always on time

Jody Trush: It's a commercial bakery

Amandeep Loharia: Fast hours of recieve and ship 7am to 3pm

Nancy M: A great place to work. I worked at Sunrise Bakery for seven years and six months....2006. It was definitely a good experience to learn what it takes to make pastries and Dairy Queen cake centres. The best part about my experience there was the whole management team. They made you feel like you're family by they way they interacted with the employees, rewards and bonus that you can't get in big corporations. Just an overall great place.
