The Alberta Association of Architects (AAA) and The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) have partnered to create a joint practice bulletin that will shed more light on building envelope practice rights.

Did you know? Alberta’s Architects Act was one of 77 bills passed in the first session of the Alberta legislature in 1906. This established the Alberta Association of Architects to regulate the practice of architecture in the province.

The team constructed the Diwan over a period of 15 months, following the precise geometric specifications of Islamic gardens. For starters, the garden is built along north-south and east-west axes; the Diwan sits at the terminus of the latter.
