Nice tight joints Rick!Shop is VERY clean, staff friendly and the finished product reflects this. Also was quite impressed with the repair process in general. The finish was completely gone and the chairs and tabletop had seen a fair amount of burn marks and water damage.He sanded everything down and then even colour matched the stain to my cabinets at home. He can do any custom staining you want!The end product came out beautifully. The whole set looked brand new and it was definitely worth the money spent. He's competitively priced, does great work and the turnaround for the 6 chairs and tabletop was roughly 3 weeks.Couldn't recommend anyone better!
Ena Chaisson: It took me a long time to decide to refinish a piece of furniture from my grandmother and I'm very glad that I was referred to Rick Conklin at Master Furniture Repair. I brought my table to him during one of his really busy seasons and even so it was done within 15 working days. Rick was patient with me as I learned about how walnut reacts to different stains and together we made a good choice and the table is beautiful. To do this task, the table is deconstructed, stripped, and then reconstructed and finished. It's not inexpensive but it is worth it for something that means a lot to you or needs to be tended to by someone with a long background in the industry. Thanks Rick!

Derek Lorenz: Charlie and everyone are so welcoming. My mother had antiques fixed up many many years ago and then my grandparents 1920’s chime clock needed refinishing and the face re-silvered. Charlie took care of it and it operated for over ten years. I recently couldn’t find him because of his move, I forgot the name of the business so I took my clock to get repaired to a different clock repair store and was told it was broken and could not be fixed. I finally found old wood works info and Charlie had it fixed with his magic hands and amazing craftsmanship. The entire experience of working with this company start to finish was professional and incredibly satisfying. You really know when you meet Steve, this man is a master craftsman who knows refinishing. As the original table leaf had been destroyed Steve built two leaves to compliment the table. The team also repaired damage acquired to walnut veneer. We were invited to the shop to make sure the stain colour and lacquer finish was right before the final stain was applied. We can confirm this team is worthy of the trust we placed in them. Five star care & customer service from start to finish!

Based on other quotes we received, theirs is very competitive and they’re our #1. For the interim while our kids are smaller, we’re just going to go less quality to get us by, and then save our pennies to get it perfectly done when the kids won’t destroy the beautiful investment 😂. Can’t wait to one day add that fifth star and give our dining set the Harvest Moon quality it deserves!

There were some pieces I wanted lacquered and some pieces I simply wanted a danish oil finish and they accommodated to my requests. Would definitely come back!

Karla A: I had my maple cabinets sprayed white just over a month ago by Harvest Moon. They have a very smooth finish so I thought having them sprayed instead of painted would be the best option. I was absolutely right! The finish is flawless and they look amazing! I will confess I hit my screwdriver on them more than once when I was putting them back up and there were no scrapes and no paint came off. They spray with paint and then put a lacquer on top and that seems to make the finish quite durable.I am so delighted with the outcome and had great service. I would recommend Harvest Moon to anyone who wants to have something refinished.

My Irish Wolfhound puppy, when she was 18 months old and had finished teething, decided to chew the legs of the table and the rungs on the chairs. The chairs that have been around the family dining table since before I was born will continue to serve us well for years and years to come!He not only removed the wicker back and cloth cushions and updated the look of the chairs, he also took the time to evaluate and repair the joints in the chairs as a whole. They feel brand new and absolutely solid.
